The Early Days

Brownsville Station was formed in Michigan in 1969 by guitarists Cub Koda and Mike Lutz. The band quickly gained a following in the Detroit area, and in 1973, they released their debut album, "Yeah." The album featured the hit single "Smokin' in the Boys Room," which reached number 3 in Canada and on the US Billboard Hot 100.
