Salah Makes History with 100th Premier League Goal

Liverpool Forward Continues Record-Breaking Season

Mohamed Salah has etched his name into Premier League history after becoming the first African player to score 100+ left-footed goals in the league.

The Egyptian forward achieved this milestone during Liverpool's 3-0 victory over Leeds United on Sunday, where he netted a brace with his left foot. With this accomplishment, Salah surpasses Robbie Fowler's previous record of 98 left-footed goals in the Premier League.

Salah's prolific form continues from last season, where he broke the Premier League record for the most goals scored in a 38-game campaign with 32 goals. The 29-year-old has been instrumental in Liverpool's success in recent years, helping the club win the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League title in 2020.

Salah's goal-scoring prowess has not gone unnoticed, with manager Jurgen Klopp praising the forward's ability to consistently deliver on the pitch.

"Salah is a special player," said Klopp. "He has a unique ability to find the back of the net with both feet. He is a threat to any defense, and his goals have been crucial to our success in recent years."

With Salah in their ranks, Liverpool will be confident in their quest to retain the Premier League title and make a deep run in the Champions League this season.
