EURO 2024: DFB and UEFA establish a joint venture

The German Football Association (DFB) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) today in Frankfurt am Main founded a joint venture for the preparation, planning and staging of the EURO 2024.

The EURO 2024 GmbH will be responsible for all aspects of the tournament, including the planning, construction and operation of the stadiums, the marketing and ticketing, and the production of the tournament. It will also work closely with the host cities and provide support to the participating teams.

The joint venture is a 50/50 partnership between the DFB and UEFA. The DFB will provide the majority of the funding for the tournament, while UEFA will provide its expertise in organizing major football events.

The EURO 2024 will be the 17th edition of the tournament and will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. Twenty-four teams will compete in the tournament, which will be played in ten cities across Germany.

The EURO 2024 is expected to attract more than 2.5 million fans to Germany and generate billions of euros in revenue for the country.
