Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics' star forward, has penned a lucrative five-year supermax contract extension worth up to $303.7 million. The deal, which includes $214.04 million guaranteed, will keep Brown in Boston through the 2027-28 season.
Brown's new contract represents a significant increase over his previous deal, which he signed in 2019. Under that agreement, he was set to make $26.4 million in the 2023-24 season, the final year of his contract. With his new extension, Brown is set to make an average of $60.74 million per year, a 5458% increase from his previous salary.
